ONDUTISS
Underlays and foils membranes
Description
Product Benefits
Weatherproof the building in the event of rain. Barrier against potential leaks from the primary roofing or cladding material.
Ventilation of the building, protecting insulation and maintaining its optimal performance.
Membranes also protect the building and its carpentry by acting as a barrier against wind uplift forces that could displace tile covers or cladding materials.
Easy to install
The Ondutiss range caters to various needs with specialised products for different applications:
• Roof Membranes/Underlays: designed for pitched roofs, discontinuous and full deck applications. Roof underlays offer high breathability and waterproofing. Installed on the cold side of the roof (i.e., over the insulation material, with or without an air gap in between), they function to evacuate vapour from the roof area and ensure waterproofing in case of a leak.
• Facade Membranes: like roof underlays, facade membranes provide breathability to evacuate water vapour from the building through the walls while acting as a waterproofing barrier, protecting insulation and drywalls. Facade membranes are always installed between the cladding material and the insulation.
• Roof and Wall Vapour Control Layers and Vapour Barriers: these membranes regulate or block vapour transmission from inside to outside and vice versa. They are essential for managing moisture levels, especially in regions with significant temperature differences (day/night, summer/winter) and in wood constructions.
• Construction Foils: various types of watertight membranes protect insulation from humidity, frame concrete, or serve as temporary solutions to protect a job site. Flooring membranes, for instance, separate insulation from concrete, blocking humidity. Standard foils can be used as temporary solutions during construction for reliable waterproofing.
